A sleigh, a snowy slope and no finish line: Snow Rider 3D is about how far downhill you can get before you crash. The 3D view sits right behind the sleigh, so the track rushes at you head-on and the sense of speed is surprisingly convincing for something you play from a chair.
Short taps on the steering keys work better than holding them down, because over-correcting is what usually ends a run. Grab a gift only when it lies on a safe line; a new sleigh is not worth a crash. Racing on wheels instead of runners is covered by Mario Kart 64.
