Steering one car is easy enough; 2Cars hands you two at once. Each drives down its own two-lane road, and you keep shifting them from lane to lane so both survive at the same time.
There are no extra lives: the first slip ends the game and leaves you with a score to beat. It helps to let your gaze rest in the middle between the two roads, so both lanes stay in view without your eyes jumping back and forth. When you want proper racing with tracks and rivals, Super Mario Kart is close at hand.
