Imagine Tetris where the pieces do not stay put. In PixelTris every block you drop crumbles into flowing sand the moment it lands, and the sand keeps moving until it settles. That one change turns a familiar game into something new, because you no longer fill rows. You build bridges of color.
The rule is simple to say and surprisingly tricky to do: connect sand of a single color from the left wall of the well to the right wall, and the whole line clears. Clear several in a row and you get a combo. You move and rotate the pieces as usual, but placement matters differently: pieces of the same color should land next to each other, and you should leave room for the sand to spread out.
