MadPuffers built Basketball Stars around short duels on a single court. You pick a team, enter a tournament and face one rival at a time. Points come from dunks and long three-pointers, and the defense is far from polite: a well-timed slap can knock your opponent to the floor and leave the ball free for you to grab.
The arrow keys run and jump, the down arrow blocks or fakes a pump, X steals or shoots, and Z fires the supershot. Keep an eye on the bar at the top of the screen. Once it is full, the special dunk works from any spot on the floor and never misses, so saving it for a tight score late in the match is a smart habit.
