Tetris 1989 is a retro video game with coloured geometric shapes that need to be compactly placed on the playing field.

Tetris 1989 : Gameplay

Choose the game mode at the beginning and solve the classic puzzle. Geometric shapes appear on the playing field. Each element consists of 4 squares. The player’s task is to place all the blocks to form a solid line.

Elements that are in a line will disappear and you can continue the game.
Move the pieces to place them with a minimum of empty spaces. You can change the position of a piece as long as it is moving. Use the arrow keys to control the movement.

Scroll the shape to change its position by clicking the Z key. A separate block displays the piece that will appear on the board next. This will allow the player to optimally match the elements and avoid collapse.

Each element adds points to the score. The player receives bonus points if he or she makes a line. The more lines you manage to collect, the longer the game will last. The game ends when the pieces reach the top of the playing field.
Get the maximum number of points and set records in the game. The screen shows not only the current score, but also the best score in the game.
