About Defend the Castle
An enemy army arrives in waves, and between it and your castle stands only what you managed to build. Defend the Castle asks you to gather gold and wood, turn them into walls, archers and cannons, and keep the king alive through 30 waves.
Holding the castle for 30 waves
- Put the economy first. Mines bring in gold and woodcutting brings in timber, and both pay for every defense you place.
- Combine your defenses. Walls, archers and cannons each do a different job, and mixing them holds better than relying on one type.
- Learn the hotkeys: W, A and C select wall, archer or cannon, U upgrades a tower and Q triggers a special power. Press Space only when you are ready for the next wave.
Everything else runs on the mouse, or on taps on a phone. Lane defense with a garden instead of a castle is what Plants vs Zombies offers.
