A lumberjack, an axe and a tree with no top in sight: Timberman needs nothing more. This retro-style arcade game asks you to keep chopping the endless trunk and collect as many points as you can before something goes wrong.
What goes wrong is usually a branch. Branches grow out of the trunk on both the left and the right, and the lumberjack has to stay clear of them while he works. The rules take seconds to understand, yet a long run is hard to put together, which is exactly why one more try always seems reasonable.
Look a section or two ahead rather than at the piece right in front of the axe, so the next move is already decided when it arrives. Another quick test of reflexes is Geometry Lite, while Classic Snake covers the slower end of arcade play.
