Classic Chess

In the game Classic Chess (Master Chess) you can play against the computer or your friend. The rules of the game are pretty simple. Just try to play as fast as you can. With each second your score is getting lower and lower. There are certain strategies in this game.

Classic Chess is an intellectual chess game for everyone who likes to build a strategy, think about moves and create interesting traps for the opponent. Play chess and train your logic, thinking, and relax while solving interesting situations.

Gameplay

The game takes place on a standard 8 by 8 chessboard with black and white chess pieces on both sides. The player’s task is to defeat the opponent and destroy his king.

The second row is filled with pawns, in the corners of the first row there are rooks, knights next to them, then bishops, and finally the queen and king. Each piece moves differently. Click on an element and the available moves will be highlighted on the board. Move them to capture your opponent’s chess pieces and remove them from the board.

Although the king is the most important piece, it only moves one square around itself, which makes it quite weak in a battle with other pieces.
If the king is attacked by other pieces in the game, it is called ‘checkmate’. If the opponent has no possible options to save his king, this situation is known as ‘checkmate’.

The most powerful is the queen, which is able to move any number of cells vertically.

When you manage to defeat the opponent’s king, the game ends. There can also be a draw when there are two kings left on the board.
