You place colorful pieces on a grid and clear lines, just as in any block puzzle, but in Block Pixels the lines you clear are not wasted. Removing certain colors slowly builds a hidden pixel picture. There are dozens of them, from cute animals to funny everyday objects, and each picture is a goal for the level.
Drag a piece onto the board and fill a full row or column to clear it. The round ends when no piece fits, so keep some room for the larger shapes. Pay attention to the picture too: it tells you which colors still need to be cleared.
It is a relaxed and thoughtful game, a close relative of 1010 Deluxe and Tetris Classic.
