You play a hippo with a simple job in Sumo Shove: throw the other animal wrestlers out of the ring before they manage to force you over the rope. Every level moves to a new arena and brings a new kind of rival, from a frog that hops around to a stone guardian standing between you and the way home.
On a computer, the arrow keys push in the direction you press and the space bar puts full strength into the shove. On a phone, dragging handles both movement and how hard you push. Some opponents need special treatment. A tengu can grab hold of you, and only a hard flick breaks free, while the oni pushes back strongly, so it is better to reach it from the side or from behind.
The best habit is to deal with each opponent as soon as it enters, before several gather in the ring. Another crowded arena where only one can be left standing is Super Bomberman 4.
