About Combat Landing

Shooting down the enemy is only half of each sortie in Combat Landing. Missions send you after fighter jets, drones and ground targets while missiles and gunfire come your way, and the job only counts once you fly back to base and touch down safely on the runway. The arrow keys steer, Space fires and P pauses; on mobile you drag to steer and let go to level out.

Three habits that bring the plane home

Hit ground targets quickly. They vanish ten seconds after they appear, so hesitation costs you the chance.
Take out enemy jets and drones before they open fire, rather than trying to dodge them for the whole mission.
Spend your flight miles. The miles you earn buy upgrades, which should make the later scenarios more manageable.

There are four levels, each with its own scenario. For a reflex test of a very different sort, Geometry Lite is a good follow-up.
